LAUREN ELKIN: SCAFFOLDING | THURSDAY, 20 JUNE  2024

Franco-American writer Lauren Elkin talks Paris, psychology and parallel lives as she sets the tone for her new novel, Scaffolding

7:00pm-9:00pm Fort Road Bar, Fort Road Hotel

A deeply atmospheric story of desire, love and psychoanalysis, Scaffolding is set in Paris' Belleville district, as two couples inhabit the same apartment fifty years apart. Lauren will be framing the novel, which considers the lasting bonds we create with other people and the imprints we leave on the spaces we live in, in conversation with Ryan J Smith.
