A gleaming evocation of love, agony and civilisational collapse, author Samuel Fisher's latest novel Migraine is set in a dystopian world ravaged by climate change, as storms bring on a plague of migraine that afflicts most of the surviving population. Two men, star-crossed Ellis and bookshop owner Sam, cross London and hit the road south in search of Ellis' lost love Luna, both hoping to find relief from pain...
Samuel Fisher is also the co-owner of Burley Fisher Books in East London and a director at the superb Peninsula Press. Migraine is his third novel, following The Chameleon and Wivenhoe. He'll be discussing Migraine in conversation with Margate-based writer Ryan J. Smith.
